 With over 150 years of global trade experience, Standard Chartered developed a private label turnkey solution that streamlines the complex data management processes that are inherent in cross-border trade. The system effectively integrates sourcing and procurement tools with logistics and banking services. In 2002, the international trade facilitation company, Exonomy Limited was incorporated to manage this integrated new system. Introduced as a trade services flagship product - Standard Chartered B2BeX was officially launched. B2BeX is specifically designed to seamlessly integrate with potential private label partners. It is flexible and customisable through an open systems and "standards" approach. The platform technologies can be quickly integrated with existing banking transactional systems and business Supply Chain Management and ERP processes. This allows our customers and partners to offer importers, exporters and their trading partners, value-added benefits for their existing trade offerings and deliver solutions quickly without the cost and complexity of a proprietary stand-alone solution. Exonomy is a subsidiary of Standard Chartered and the SCB B2BeX is the Standard Chartered branded version of the Exonomy platform. |
